Power Oats
Ingredients
100g oats, steal cut/quick oats, buckwheat, 10 grain cereal ( I use 10-grain cereal)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp seeds
5 oz soy milk or other plant milk (use more or less depending on how thick you like your oatmeal)
5 oz water (use more or less depending on how thick you like your oatmeal)
150g fresh melon (watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon)
50g fresh pomegranate arils
Pinch of salt and dash of cinnamon (optional)
If you want to add more protein and calories to your oatmeal - add a scoop of your favorite protein. I use vanilla for mine.
Toppings - walnuts ( any nuts you enjoy) and more soy milk (any plant milk) for texture
Method:
Combine all ingredients except fruits in a microwave safe bowl. Top with fruit and nuts.
